Something In My House: Almost All of It
You’ve read about my open house sale here and on my Facebook page.
Take a look at this sweet documentation that artfully shows off all kinds of little vintage junky junks, doodads, and brick-a-bracks in my humble abode. These wonderful photos were taken by Merl, who you met here yesterday. She’s got mad photography skills, so do check out her blog in-depth. You will enjoy her site. It is lovely to look at because it is filled with all manner of pretty things. You may have to allot yourself some extra exploration time for this. C’mon. Treat yo’ self.
OH! OH! OH! And! Here’s that red Hawaiian dress that I mentioned yesterday. It now resides with Karyn who clearly knows a thing or two about looking like a million dollars in a vintage dress. Love it.
Lest you haven’t had your fill of Karyn, here she is wearing another Lucite Box open house purchase. You really must take a look Karyn’s Brick By Brick dress on my site and compare and contrast. You see? This is how you wear vintage. Mix it up. Make it yours. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns and colors. Let’s hear it for Karyn’s awesome accessorizing!
P.S. When I expressed to K. that it may still be a little too chilly outside to wear a strapless dress, she said, “Oh, I don’t care. I’m going to wear this dress ALL the time. I’ll just throw my leather jacket over it.” Huzzah! This is what personal style is all about.
And we’re off to a lovely Tuesday here at Lucitebox!
