People often send mail to our offices at The International House of Hot Pants. Here’s one such letter:

Dear iHoHP,

I love seeing your hot pants photos on your blog every Friday! From time to time, you forget to post on Friday and then my whole weekend is shot. I have to drink at least 4 beers on Friday night to forget the fact that there were no hot pants on the blog. I’m just saying…

So, I wanted to ask you–how do you find these photos?! ‘I search “hot pants” and all I get are images of slutty women in short shorts. I find things like this! And what about these dog hot pants?! I like dogs, but that photo is just obscene.  I won’t even link you to some of the horrible things I’ve seen…wait…how about this?! OMG, right?

Anyway, I am a big fan of your site and I just want to say–KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! Thank you for continuing to post mostly tasteful images of hot pants instead of those hootchies (sp?) in tight short shorts. I like your style!

Isn’t that nice? A fan letter! (Note to readers: Your fan mail is read and appreciated! We get so much of it it’s sometimes hard to respond individually, but we assure you that we do read it!)

Okaaay. Here’s how today’s wholesome image of the Brady Bunch landed in our Google search: “Any Brady Bunch photos with hot pants?” BOOM!  Despite the bizarre syntax, this photo was the second in the list!  The idea to specify the search with “Brady Bunch” occurred while looking for photos of wigs. Why wigs? Because it’s Friday. D’uh.

It was then that we realized it was not only Who Wears a Wig? Friday, but also, it’s Hot Pants Friday!

Happy Hot Pants Friday to each and every one of you! Enjoy your beers and keep those cards and letters coming! P.S. We are disappointed that Alice is not wearing hot pants.
