Sweet Vintage 50s Tiny Floral Halter Dress -
SOLD
Pretty sundresses with halter backs are some of Sabrina's favorite things to wear. Our mannequin gave this a "thumbs up" and then wondered why we didn't show it with a wide black belt which she said would be the way she'd wear it. Thanks for the tip, mannequin!
Here's a lovely 50s dress. It's made of 100% cotton and it's bright and wonderful. It's a halter style that slips over the neck and has some pleating on the cups. The dress zips up the back with a long metal zipper. The skirt is quite full, but we showed it with a crinoline to show you just how full it is. Sabrina mentioned that a dress like this needs no crini. It looks better flowing and moving the way that cotton does. The print is comprised of tiny flowers in gray, white, yellow and black.
If you decide to buy this adorable dress, we can also tell you that Sabrina thinks it looks great with a cropped cardigan in black or white. We have to agree. That Sabrina. She sure knows her vintage.
Condition:
Excellent, however, the self-fabric belt has some discoloration to it. Change that if you'd like. A wide belt would look great!
Designer/Label: None, one small paper size tag
Color: Gray, white, yellow, black
Fabric: Cotton
Fabric Notes: This came crisp and still with the sizing in the fabric. We washed it hoping the belt would soak clean. It's still discolored. However, the dress is impeccable and it's basically new old stock.
