Bombshell Ruth McCollouch Vintage 50s Paillette Cocktail Dress -
Oozing sex appeal and class, this vintage late 50s/early 60s cocktail dress smolders. It. Is. Hot. Seriously hot.
The bodice is quite a stunner with all of those flat paillettes (big round sequins) covering it. There's just the right amount of additive decoration to make the dress sizzle in the light. Then, there's the cut of the bodice. Yeouch. It's a classic tank style that dips down very low in the back.
Speaking of the back, there's more! The skirt features fly-panels in the center back of the dress. They float and flit when you dance. Basically, let's just cut to the chase. This dress is a scene stealer, a scene maker. It's date-bait deluxe. The skirt is made of rayon jersey that's delicious to touch. And then notice--a flat bow at the lower back finishes it off.
Trust us. You wear this and no one will be able to take their eyes off of you. It's just that good.
VERY GOOD. There are a few paillettes missing. The fact that they're gone doesn't detract. They're missing from the shoulder area. We'd say about 6-10 of them are gone.
Rayon jersey Fabric Notes:
We are pretty sure this is rayon jersey. There's some give to the skirt fabric. It's very soft to the touch, but does also have a crepe-like quality.
