The 49er jacket, pioneered by Pendelton, is a classic piece of sportswear. Many manufacturers made line-for-line copies of it. We have several in our our closets because they're just so easy to wear. They add a bit of style to typical chilly weather wear.
This 49er is made by Packerland Sport Togs (Go Green Bay!) and it's available in a hard to find color scheme of gray, pink and cream. It's got pleated plackets at the shoulders, padded shoulders and a nice row of gray pearly buttons, as well as patch pockets on the front. Please add some room to the measurements because this should fit a bit boxy and you'll more than likely want to wear something under it.
This is the sort of thing that you grab and add to any casual outfit (like jeans, basic black or gray flannel) and suddenly, you've got just the right touch of vintage. We think you'll agree--these jackets are tops!
