Smart, chic and stylish--that's the vibe that this vintage 50s wool jacket creates. Charcoal gray and black houndstooth check is set off by plenty of sculptural details. We love the graphic appeal of black trim at the collar, buttons, and pointy pockets.
There's definitely an equestrian influence in this jacket. The cutaway style at bottom of the jacket suggests a riding jacket while that sharp trim recalls a coachman's jacket. We're pretty sure this dates to the early 50s, though it borrows a lot of details from film noir 40s jackets.

Condition:
VERY GOOD. There is one very small, split pea-sized moth hole at the lower back. You can see that circled in one of our close-up photos.
