Chic Vintage Black 50s Peek-a-Boo Dress -
SOLD
You might say, "This dress?" To which we will reply, "Why, yes! This dress!" It's got all that
je ne sais quoi that a perfect vintage day dress ought to have. It's never outlandish or too showy and comfortably goes from day to evening.
This black dress is made from a beautiful textile. It's an interesting novelty eyelash jacquard weave fabric with drawn work "stripes." The fact that the bodice striping is lined-up diagonally next to the horizontal lay-out of the skirt adds just the right amount of eye-interest. This fabric appears to be a linen blend. It's nice--not too heavy and not too light.
There's a large patch pocket on the side and a nifty self-fabric sash belt. The silhouette is simple and classic, nearly a wiggle dress. The textile has a slight peek-a-boo effect. This frock zips in the back with a long metal zipper. It's made by Fashion Firsts.
Basic, effortlessly elegant and so easy to wear--honestly, we can't think of a better addition to that little black dress collection of yours. What? No LBD collection? Shame on you. Start building your stash today.
