Cute Vintage 50s Crackled Cherry Novelty Print -
SOLD
Atomic this. Atomic that. Atomic schmomic. Who cares? This abstract print pink, black and aqua dress kicks it out of the stratosphere.
This is a darling little shirtwaist dress from the 1950's. It's an all-star in the Lucitebox Shirt Waist Dress Hall of Fame. It's made of pink cotton / linen blend fabric. The print is sweet--a black and aqua crackled grid is decorated with little cherry shapes, clubs and spades. The dress buttons to the waist and has a self-fabric belt. The skirt has many gores and flows freely. Simple and easy to wear, here's a dress that's going to give you plenty of mileage through the year.
If you are enamored with shirtwaist style dresses, you picked the right web store. We have plenty. This one is a favorite!
Condition:
Very Good to Good. There is discoloration on the belt buckle. There's a small 1/4" spot on the lower half of the skirt well below the hip region. Inside the neckline, there's very faint yellowing that does not show when it's worn. Dress has been freshly laundered and has no holes or other problems, though it's probable that the buttons once had rhinestones in the centers.
