Film Noir Two Tone Vintage 40s Crepe Dress -
The drama intensifies when you walk in the room wearing this dress. This vintage '40s two tone mistress of style is evocative of film noir cinema. It is teeming with details that make it a standout vixen of a dress. There's no question that your entrance in this dress will cause a hush to fall over the room. It's moody. It's sexy. It's sultry. It's got a built in aura of intrigue and mystery. And guess what? In this dress, you don't have to flash a lot of flesh to make that magic happen.
Jet black rayon crepe slides over the body in an uncomplicated yet structured fashion. Wide sleeves made from bright mustard yellow crepe contrast perfectly with all that black. The big, metal square buttons on the dress are made of shiny, citrus yellow glass. The dress has a self-fabric belt with a lip print (or moustache) shaped buckle. (Excuse us. Our minds are being blown by that detail!) The skirt's nice on this one, too. It's got big gores that allow it to move fluidly. And, it has pockets, too.
Don't be surprised if you're mistaken for a film noir movie star when you wear this dress. When that happens, just act natural. Then, pretend to dig for your pen. Now sign your cocktail napkin and give it to the man. No need to include your phone number...unless you want to.
Very good. Light ironing shine. Iron shine is on the pockets. Belt shows wear at edges of buckle. Glass buttons are cloudy. Offered AS IS with no returns. It's still TOTALLY wearable and structurally sound.
