Flirty Vintage 50s Gingham and Lace Shelf Bust Dress -
When our mannequin, Sabrina, put on this gingham dress, she felt sweet and innocent. But, when she looked down and saw the frilly lace inset, she wondered aloud, "How did I get so stacked?" Answer: she stuffs.
Here's a dress that's not only fun and flirty, but also enhances and flatters like nobody's business. It's made of soft cotton in micro gingham. The skirt, with its abundance of gathers at the waist is full and fabulous. But the real standout is the bodice in all of its eye-catching glory. Just under the bustline, there's a flat bow. Above that, an inset of pretty white lacey goodness. It's a sun dress that's sure to outshine all others. The dress closes in the back with a long metal zipper. It's made by Pixie of California (side note: the label is as cute as the dress itself.)
This gingham, goodie-goodie girly dress gets its game only at Lucitebox. Won't you please buy it and bring it back to life?
VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition. It's nearly perfect. There's a small spot (smaller than a dime) that's located in the back at the gathers/pleats. It's impossible to see unless you're looking for it. The dress is missing its original belt. We have shown it with a crinoline for a bit of added volume. The crinoline is not included.

Black and WhiteFabric:
Cotton and lace (presumably the lace is cotton, but it may be a blend.) Fabric Notes:
The cotton is not as stiff as it may have originally been in the 50s. It's been worn and loved, but clearly well taken care of for the past 60 years.
