Heavenly Vintage 50s Star Print Sundress & Cardigan -

A VERY Rare Find
Oh, heavens. You'll thank your lucky stars if this darling vintage '50s dress and cardigan set happens to be your size. It's celestial. It's otherworldly. It's heavenly.
The fact of the matter is that you just don't find many sets like this. What's more, it's a fabulous novelty print with S-T-A-R-S! And, there's a printed cardigan that matches! What a find!
The dress is cotton and it's got a piped inset panel at the center of the bust. It's a fit 'n flare number that's gathered at the waist and stunningly full and dance-able. We have shown the dress with (and without) a crinoline for maximum glamour girl, star power presentation. The cardigan is orlon. It's very soft and it's bright white with stars printed on it. The whole affair closes with pearly buttons.

Condition:
Good. This is a well-loved set. There is a tiny spot on the bodice that is faint. There is fading and ring around the collar on the sweater's collar. This does not show when worn. (These 2 flaws are shown in the last 2 photos.) No other flaws found.

Cotton is lightweight and bodice is rather sheer because this dress was washed frequently. Still, the print is quite bright and crisp. You can see the sheerness of the fabric in the close-up of the bodice.
