It's always a treat to offer stylish vintage that's happens to be a hard-to-find size. It's never a treat to get Sabrina, our mannequin, to look good in these frocks that are not her size. She's runway model size, so we do a lot of clipping and pinning back fabric to get the clothes to look like they fit. In the end, it just looks "off" so it's safe to say that this vintage '60s paisley print frock certainly looks better on a person who wears this size.
The dress is made from that soft rayon that's mid-weigh and feels like cotton. (It's not the slinky stuff.) It could easily be worn during cooler months. The rich paisley print is great for Fall.
This shirtwiast dress has shiny rhinestone studded buttons that run just below the waist. It's got a matching self-fabric belt and cuffed sleeves. The skirt flows nicely, but it has been taken up quite a bit.
We anticipate that you'll carry a handbag that picks up the brighter blue or the rich orange in the print. That would look neat. Of course, you could always to black or navy, too.
GOOD. There's a hole in this dress. It's on the center of the skirt about 9" up from the hem. See last photo. The dress has been shortened. The hem allowance is 4 1/2". It is otherwise clean and free of stains or problems.
