Pintucked Vintage 50s Pink and Black Gingham Shirtwaist Dress -
Pretty, detailed and sweet, this vintage gingham dress from the late '50s is a darling option for beating the heat. The dress has pointy faux-pockets at the yoke and the bodice is accented with smart pintucks. The light pink and darker pink gingham bands include repeated white stripes, too. The whole shebang is accented with black for contrast. Chubby white buttons make this shirtwaister a no-brainer for cooling off in the summer sun. (It may be hot, but you'll be the hit of the summer backyard party in this easy cotton dress.) There are large square patch pockets on the skirt.
Sun goes down, you add your white or black cardi and ride off into the sunset on your vintage bicycle. Sounds like a good day to us. Don't forget your bike lights. You'll definitely want to take the long way home wearing this cutie.
VERY GOOD. There is a little bit of wear and very subtle discoloration on the belt. It may just need a good soak to take care of that. The bottom of the button placket might need a snap to secure it. I'll leave the placement for that up to the new owner. Everything else checks out great--freshly laundered and ready to go.
