Smart Vintage 60s Plaid Sleeveless Shirt Dress -
SOLD
There's a bit of a zeitgeist going around for traditional plaids and clothes that seem to have a classic preppy aesthetic. We're not sure this vintage dress qualifies, but it seems to have that heritage brand look about it. It's from the '60s and it's a shirtwaist style dress that buttons up the front with a few white buttons. No-nonsense styling--just a simple sleeveless bodice and a couple of darts at the bust. The skirt is a wide-ish style in an a-line shape so its got that going for it, too.
The rad plaid frock is made of easy to wear cotton. No labels, but it probably came from Sears or Wards or one of those humble stores where the ubiquitous house dress sold for less than $3.00. You'll be glad to invest a little bit of your mad money in this dress. It's the kind of thing that we imagine will be worn so often you might end up wearing it to shreds. Works with tights & a cardigan for Fall, too!
