It's not hard to see aesthetic themes that develop at Lucitebox. This vintage 60s dress represents two of them--shirt dresses and stripes. This simple cotton dress is crisp and cool with its sleeveless bodice and no-nonsense styling. It's got a big patch pocket which has stripes that run diagonally to contrast with the vertical (read: slimming) stripes of the dress itself. There's also a small breast pocket. The dress buttons with concealed buttons that are behind a flat button placket.
Easy. Breezy. Covergirl. Wait...no...that's makeup. This is a dress. It's the smartest striped thing we've seen and it's in keeping with our theme. Hooray!
Condition:
Excellent. The label is frayed (as you can see in the last photo) but honestly, this dress shows very little wear. It's crisp and vivid. It's been freshly laundered, too.
