Smartsette Striped Vintage 60s Cotton Shirtwaist Dress -
SOLD
You can make this vintage dress look modern without much effort. We're seeing it in Fall with tights, boots and a chunky cashmere cardigan. It's from the early '60s and it's made of cotton, so guess what? We'll get to see it again with sneakers in the Summer. (You know how we love our Chucks with these simple day dresses.)
This dress is made by Smartette. It buttons down the front with ornate goldtone buttons. The awning stripe print is in a vibrant colorway that's bright and crisp. We like how the stripes on the button placket run diagonally and add a little contrast to the bodice.
Owning this dress is easy. We suspect you'll find plenty of ways to wear it. Judging from the condition it's in, it's hardly been worn since the '60s, so really...it's about time you make that happen!
Condition:
Very good. There is one tiny flaw in the fabric that looks like a manufacturing defect on the textile. It's a little tiny pea sized part that's miswoven. Very hard to find. On the skirt. Freshly laundered and free of stains or odors.
