Turquoise Vintage 50s Rose Printed Pocket Dress -
SOLD
Hey there...you know what color combo rocks? Black and turquoise, that's what. It's such a perfectly 50s duo. This shade is kind of close to Tiffany blue.
We imagine this as the perfect summertime dress--cool, comfy and cute. It's made of cotton that's embossed with a vine-y, scroll-y, swirl-y pattern. If you look close at the close-up of the fabric, you'll see what we mean when we describe the fabric as textured or embossed. The print is sort of "raised" and it's a bit shiny.
This charmer is a vintage 50s shirtwaist that buttons all the way up the front with decorative, vintage black buttons. It's made by Monte Carlo. There are very large patch pocket that are printed with black roses. Isn't that swell?
You got stuff to carry? You might as well get a dress with pockets. And, if it's this one, you know it'll be A-Doooor-A-BLE!
Condition:
VERY GOOD. There's one flaw. There's a smudge on the ink on the corner of the pocket. See photo.
Designer/Label: Monte Carlo
Color: Turquoise and black
Fabric: Cotton
Fabric Notes: The fabric is slightly shiny. This might be intrinsic to the fabric or it could be that the sizing has never been washed out as the dress appears to be new old stock. Better still, it's likely heat pressed polished cotton.
Note--Original belt included, but it's a rather inexpensive vinyl belt.
