Beautiful Terry Allen Vintage 50 Powder Blue Silk Wiggle Dress -
This elegant and graceful dress from 1959 seems ideally suited for a special occasion. We're thinking it would be a sensational choice for a second wedding or a member of the wedding party.
A slim wiggle skirt in powdery blue Italian silk is topped with a bodice of re-embroidered lace swathed with two-tone silk chiffon. That luscious, soft chiffon falls in a soft floating back panel. Do be sure to check out the close-up shots of the lace and the lovely back details. These stand-out features are just a few indicators that this dress was expensive when it was originally purchased at Marshall Field's esteemed 28 Shop in Chicago. In fact, this dress originally retailed for $145. Look--we've just added a ten spot to the price to account for inflation.
The dress closes with a long metal zipper.
Gorgeous and enchanting, this dress will shine at any special occasion. It's got such class--clearly it's the kind of thing that is meant for a discerning woman like you.
GOOD. One fly panel has a frayed edge. Could be rolled and re-sewn. The re-embroidered lace has some very, very subtle lightening at the shoulder. See last two photos. Dress was let out at the side seams and there are needle marks there. Hard to notice this when it's worn. Please see photos for flaws.

Silk, silk chiffon, re-embroidered lace.Fabric Notes:
We can only see a trace of fade that's not that noticeable on the shoulders of the dress. It's on the re-embroidered lace. There are no other problems with the lace and it's very hard to see this problem.
