Beautiful 50s party dresses in a larger size range don't come along every day. We're delighted to offer this one. The dress is made of rich sapphire blue taffeta. The skirt is extremely full, nearly a full circle. There's a central panel that peeks from the underskirt that's made of white tulle. That same white tulle is seen at the neckline.

And what a neckline! We love the way the floral appliqués frame the bodice and the skirt. It's like a trail of daisies, more beautiful as we go along. And the bodice itself is nicely fitted and hugs curves. The small slit cap sleeves are cute.

The skirt is very voluminous and lined with a white taffeta slip. It would be easy to wear a crinoline under this dress if you wanted a dramatic, poofy skirt. There's no label in this dress. It zips up the side with a long metal zipper.

Lovely vintage 50s dress --looks great with vintage stilettos, a lucite box bag and a flick of red lipstick! Take it home today.

Condition:
EXCELLENT. Spotted some iron shine on the under side of the sleeves. The original owner tried to iron these sleeves to flip back. One flower appliqué has a tiny tear in it and one, near the hem of the skirt is yellowed.
