Crisscross Vintage 50s Fitted Cocktail Dress -  SOLD
Crisscrossing flat felled seams add just enough drama to this classic cocktail dress. This late 50s beauty is beautifully appointed with that expert seam work and two small bows at the waist. We think this crepe wonder is the perfect dressy dress that's not frilly or over-the-top. This kind of vintage dress conveys glamour in a refined way. It says "understated elegance."

The dress is fully lined. It appears to be black, but in certain extremely bright lighting, it looks just a notch towards navy. It's honestly hard to tell if it's black or darkest navy, but we're leaning toward black. Three quarter sleeves look polished. The dress zips up the back with a long metal zipper. It was made by New York manufacturer Grace Taylor a great mid-range line that offered things at this time in the $25-40 range. There's also a Chicago store label inside.

Are you all for class without a lot of fuss and frill? This dress exudes it.
