Glamazon Vintage 50s Fringed Black Dress -
SOLD
This is one shimmy-riffic dress! It's a sleek, very fitted wiggle dress with lots of black fringe. It's perfect for your next very special event. (That is if you like to be the center of attention.)
The label inside this late 50s dress is Nathan-Strong. The Nathan-Strong duo was formed in 1945 by Robert Strong and Morris Nathan. For the larger part of the fifties, the firm employed August de Lorenzo as chief designer, who was an able hand at dreaming up dreamy cocktail dresses. Nathan-Strong cocktail dresses sold very well from the 1950s into the early 1960s.We are so thankful to our pal, Scott, for this information on the label. We knew this was a good dress when we found it!
Check out the back detail of this saucy black crepe number. There's a sexy cut-out and the dress buttons right at the nape of the neck. You get this little surprise when you turn around in the dress.
Petersham belt, very nicely made, and in perfect condition--this is just the sort of cocktail dress that makes cocktailing fun!
