Lush Vintage 50s/60s Red Velvet Party Dress -
SOLD
A simple silhouette gets gorgeous beyond gorg with a dramatic detachable draped cowl neck collar and a superbly sublime color. What a shade of red!
The dress is home sewn and quite well made. It's from the late 50s/early 60s and made from ruby red cotton velvet. It's got a fitted bodice, piped waistline and a slim (but certainly not wiggle-ish) skirt. This sort of dress is a perfect party option because it gets you noticed, while retaining it's effortlessly elegant high fashion look. The dress closes in the back with a long metal zipper.
When you're ready to make your appearance, show up in red. It's the most eye-catching, passionate color. And this yummy soft velvet is just the sort of textile that makes people want to hug you just so that they can feel that fabulous fabric.
