Posh Vintage 60s Red Velvet Wiggle Dress -
SOLD
A red velvet dress is a wonderful thing. There's a certain kind of moxie that one always exudes wearing red velvet. It's as if you put on red velvet and you're instantly more alluring, more charming and more...well...tempting.
This stunning vintage late 50s/early 60s dress is beguiling. Sure, it may seem like a one-time party dress, but this is sort of thing that remains stylish and chic year after year. Think of it as an investment piece without the sticker shock that usually accompanies such things. It's made of soft cotton velvet.
Slim and sleek, the dress features a scoop neckline and cap sleeves. There's a lovely band of guipure lace with a cherry red ribbon woven through it that sits under the bust. It is finished off in the back with a flat bow.
This dress is lined through the bodice to the thigh. It's got a long metal zipper in the back and tiny snaps for bra straps (perfect with this neckline.)
Dare to have flare. Wear this scarlet number to your next event and shine.
