Light Lemon Vintage 50s Rogers Nightgown Negligee -
As delicate and airy as a lovely lemon chiffon pie, (and probably just as sweet to look at), this pretty vintage 50s nightgown from Rogers dates from the 1950s.
It has a lovely pleated bodice trimmed in pretty cotton floral lace and appliqueed with a darling leaf pattern on both the front and back of the gown. The shoulder straps are wide, gathered and quite sheer. The cups are so beautifully defined. We padded Sabrina for a better fit, but it's obvious this gown is surely going to be accentuate the positive.
There's a wide inset belt that echoes the shoulder straps in style. That ties in the back with a pretty yellow ribbon. The gown is labeled Rogers, the popular lingerie company who, you recall, was the manufacturer of vintage Pucci lingerie.
This gown is lush, lemony and pretty. In fact, we'd like to guarantee that this lemon delight will make you feel positively beautiful!
Very good. No stains, freshly laundered. There is one tiny run in the nylon shown in the 2nd to last photo. There is a small hole in the gown, also shown. These are tiny and located in the back of the gown, a few inches below the waist seam. There is a 1/8" long repair on a seam that was done by hand.
