Lush Paisley Vintage 70s Scarf Print Caftan Gown -
SOLD
When you lounge, you might as well do it stylishly à la Liz Taylor. This fabulous 70s vintage caftan provides just the right nuance of chic, eccentric bohemianism. It's a terrific example of the style.
We think this gown would translate well as streetwear. Of course, you better be just the right woman to pull that off. At the very least, this lush caftan is just the sort of thing that will comfortably take to the poolside. Grab a drink, honey, and prepare for the stares.
Made of slinky acetate, this gown is probably a one size deal, but there is a hidden petersham belt to hold the bodice in place and keep it sexy. (That’s basically, an adjustable elastic band that goes under the bust and buttons in the back.) There’s some thin interfacing at the central panel at the empire waist to give this a little more shape. However, when laid out flat, the whole thing makes a long rectangle shape just as any bonafide caftan should. Note--sexy low cut bodice. Yes! And of course, the arm holes are wide almost kimono-esque.
We didn't even say anything about the print. It's fabulous. So rich. So amazing. A caftan? Really, now.
