Wear this coat with some wide leg gab 40s pants and you'll be transformed. This coat is very Heburn-esque. (Katherine, that is.) It's a rich dark green color and trimmed in faux-mouton fur. That big collar is a rich caramel color. Green plastic buttons close the jacket. There's an attached belt that can be removed by unbuttoning it. And, it's got those very chic 40s shoulder pads.
We think this a rayon gabardine fabric. It's a very nice weight and the whole thing is lined with a wool pile fur. The sleeves are quilted and lined in acetate. There are knit cuffs inside the armholes to keep the cold air out.
Cold weather dressing needn't be dowdy. This coat is smart and so totally right for someone who likes a 40s touch.
