This baby not only keeps you warm, but it will also keep you stylish. It's double insulated for extra protection and made by Hercules. This was originally sold at Sears in 1953.
Yes. It's a man's coat, but Sabrina (our lovely model) agreed that this is one worth borrowing from the boys. It's double breasted and has a belt that converts to a half-belt just by unbuttoning it in the back. There are slash pockets for your mitts. We adore the ombre plaid in rich espresso, cinnamon and cream shades.
This is fully insulted--doubly insulated, in fact. The original ad claims that it's "action-styled for any weather...all lined for radiator warmth!"
We like to think of this as having a bit of western flavor to it. It looks like it came straight out of a Ralph Lauren ad. It's country chic, even for a city girl . We'd probably pair it with our oldest pair of Levis and some rich brown boots. Then, we'd feel ruggedly smashing and chic. And toasty warm.
Condition:
VERY GOOD. One tiny moth ding--not a hole. And another spot of wear almost impossible to see, but do check our photos for it.
