The best thing about cooler weather is that we pull out things like this--sportswear that works well integrated into anyone's wardrobe. Wear it as a light jacket or layer it with a turtleneck and you're set.
The so-called 49er jacket was Pendelton's first foray into women's sportswear. However, many other companies got on the 49er bandwagon. This one is by North Trail Sportswear. It's made of wool and has two big patch pockets on the front, shoulder pads, a dog ear collar and plackets at the shoulder line. It's evergreen, red and cream--great colors for fall.
You should add some room to the measurements as these should fit a bit boxy and you'll more than likely want to wear something under them. We should know--we own several of them and we think they're great.
