Adorable, snappy and perfect for an evening out, this cropped velvet jacket is so sweet. It's rich black and has the most dazzling diamond shaped rhinestone buttons. They offer major bling on something that's otherwise fairly modest. This 50s jacket has a nipped waist that's trimmed with a short curvy peplum. Curved trapunto accentuates the little peplum. The Peter Pan collar on the jacket collar has that same detail curvy seamed detail.

The jacket is unlined. It's extremely soft velvet that is very fluid and drapes nicely.

We've shown this with a heavily crinolined wool felt 50s circle skirt, but could imagine it also looking smashing with the leaner line of a pencil skirt.

Very good to excellent. The velvet is marred at one place on the peplum. That blemish is hard to find.
