Fun Vintage 50s Plaid Cotton Blouse/Top -

This is a sweet little home sewn shirt from the 50s. It's got short sleeves and an easy, casual style. The colorway is sweet--bright blue, red, white and green. What a darling plaid. The shirt has 4 buttons and a simple patch pocket. We love to see the work of a home sewist --this one has hand done button holes and the collar is also hand stitched to the body of the blouse.
Because this is a simple item and it's not without flaws, we're offering it here for a super low price.
Condition:
Good to fair. Color is slightly faded from wear in a uniform way. The side seams at the hem of the shirt were let out so there are needle marks that are near the sides seams. (There were once small darts there.) A few tiny specks on the cotton here and there. Hard to notice--see the size of these little blemishes in a close-up of the fabric.
