Heavily Embroidered Vintage 70s Chinese Jacket -
SOLD
Asian embroidery often features some of the most ornate and elaborately detailed workmanship --it's typically rich, complex and beyond beautiful. This vintage silk jacket from China is no exception. Just look at this stunning work of art. There must be at least 30 different shades of various colors used in the machine embroidery. It just pops on that black silk background, too.
In addition to the exotic flowers, there are also extraordinarily colorful birds. Find them flying on the front, center back, and on the sleeves. Who needs a tattoo when you're wearing these gorgeous sleeves?! (If you already have tats a plenty, this jacket only serves to compliment your body art even further!)
This is black silk, It buttons up the front with elaborate frog closures. It's fully lined. There are two small slits at the sides of the hip for ease of motion.
Any time you wear this, you are going to be complimented on it. It's just that amazing. Throw on this beauty and let the magic begin.
Condition:
EXCELLENT. There are no flaws. No holes, no stains, no odors, no loose threads. Please note--we are not able to verify 100% that this is vintage. It's really nice quality and it seems that some of the newer pieces of this genre are usually not nearly as ornate or carefully considered. If it's newer than 70s, it's quite special.
