High End Vintage 50s Jacket With Sharp Details -
SOLD
This jacket wants to find a pencil skirt to spend some time with from 9 to 5:00. It's also looking for a great pair of black cigarette pants so that it can enjoy cocktail hour. It wouldn't mind hanging around with a '50s full skirted dress and lots of layered necklaces and fun shoes. It also doesn't mind the classic look -- how about wool trousers and pearls? On the weekends, it's happy just to pop out of the house with a pair of jeans.
Versatile, very well made and nicely structured, this gray jacket is from that venerable St. Louis store, Stix, Baer & Fuller. We are certain it will add a dash of high end chic to any outfit. It's made of light weight rayon fabric. Although it's not slubbed or textured, the dove gray fabric is woven with white threads to great effect-- look at the close-ups. It's quite a pretty textile.
Curvy princess seams ensure a great fit. The nice collar and pocket details and bound button holes are the kinds of things you do not find in today's market, surely not at this price.
The jacket is, however, missing that one ingredient it needs--you and your creative style. Imagine how many ways you'll wear this gorgeous jacket.
