If you're going to retire to Palm Beach, this would be just the thing to wear for a festive occasion. Or maybe if you become the Glamorous Preppy Queen of the Universe, you'll want to have this in your stash. (Right. We know your preppy credo is "less is more," but come on, ladies! This thing is dynamite) It's pink and green to the one millioneth power. And shiny, too!

This classy (but far from classic) sweater is made by Valentina (a major player in vintage Hong Kong beading.) It's festooned in sparkling, shiny sequins in pale pink, darker pink and lime green.

Is it safe? Hardly. Imagine it with some wide legged pink trousers or a creamy colored maxi skirt and girl-next-door makeup with a touch of Pink Poodle lipstick. Now you're getting it. This sweater is incredible.

The cut is great, too. The neck is wide and slightly batteau-ish. The sleeves are three-quarter length and just right with a few enamel bangles. We like this. Very much! It's from our archives and continues to be a favorite. It zips in the back with a long metal zipper. It is fully lined in pale pink acetate.

You don't need us to tell you this, but let's review. Shiny. Sparkly. Amazing. Major bling. You WILL be noticed in this sweater. And you will have loads of fun wearing it, because really, who else is going to show up covered in pink and green sequins? It should be you.
