Tailored Taupe Vintage 40s Gorgeously Detailed Jacket -
SOLD
Fans of 40s jackets know that the reason they resonate is because the details are usually remarkable and the construction often top-notch. This gorgeous wool jacket is no exception. It's made of a lovely shade taupe-y, light brown that's pale like cocoa with too much milk.
The seam work on the front of the jacket is sculptural and very modern. The waist on this is slightly nipped with some seaming to accent the hourglass shape. The shoulders are padded and the cuffs have those quintessentially '40s flip back fins. Don't forget to be dazzled by the buttons. They're thick plastic and really gorgeous. The jacket has pockets and is lined in taupe crepe.
There's a lot to love about this classic, neutral jacket. Mix-and-match it with tweeds, plaids, neutrals, jeans, etc. You're going to love how you look in it.
