Sharp and smart, this houndstooth check suit has really nice details. The sculptural jacket is slightly cropped and has a kind of blouson effect that is punctuated in the back by two rows of self-fabric buttons. There's a large, almost portrait-like collar and bracelet length sleeves. The skirt is slim and simple. This is from the 50s and it's made from a lighter weight fabric. The tiny check is greenish black with a true olive color.

There are besom buttons holes on this one and a metal side zip on the skirt. This suit is unlined. It was made by Style Vogues Original. (Cute label, too!)
