Bright lemon yellow and tangerine orange colors explode on this cute vintage 60s swimsuit by Tina Leser. Hot pink and olive watercolor designs add to the beachy appeal of this vintage suit.
American designer, Tina Leser began her career in the 1930s. She's perhaps best known for her work with swimwear manufacturer, Gabar. Her sportswear savvy is evident during these later years of her career when swimsuits were often sold with coordinating cover-up pieces that effortlessly took her swim wear from beach wear to street wear.
We love the streamlined, smooth, figure-enhancing cut. The boy shorts are playful and winsome. The suit is fully lined, has built-in panties, and closes in the back with a nylon zipper.
Sweet citrus suprise...hmmm...that sounds like the drink you sip poolside while wearing this cutie, doesn't it?
Condition:
VERY GOOD to GOOD. One small hole in the suit & one pindot dark brown mark. (see photos at right) Straps have been altered to make them smaller but could be easily let-out if needed. Elastic Leg holes on the built-in panties have lost some of their elasticity. The back of the suit that's all ruched with elastic is still very strong and stretchy.
